I Can See It Now  Come the next election (2004), I think the democrats will have a one word answer for anything President Bush, or his supporters, say, “Liar! Liar!”. I can hear it now, shouted in a loud and angry voice. “Liar!” Why? For the situation in Iraq (but there are more useful arguments to use against the Republican administration). More seriously, did Bush lie us into a war in Iraq? I think not. This has more to do with personalities, institutions, cultures, political alignments, and changes in the laws. Here’s why.

I wrote this in December, 2003, to explain the things that caused the administration to invade Iraq and topple Saddam Hussein. Since then, little has changed. The administration has been trying to explain this, and there is going to be an investigation. But, little else has changed. Please read.

The Vote  Who should win the presidential election, Al Gore or George Bush?
I wrote this shortly before the 2000 elections to speculate on what the outcome would be. The outcome was more outrageous than anything I could have predicted.
